City Art Room offers premiere private painting parties in-studio and off-site  for adults ($35) and youth ($30). In order to secure a date for your event, a deposit is required; $60 for youth parties and $70 for adult parties - basically you are paying for only 2 people in advance to hold your date and time.. In-studio parties require a minimum of 6 painters or $210 and traveling parties require a minimum of 10 painters or $350. Our traveling parties can accommodate up to 100+ participants. 

All parties are led by Professional Artists who provide step-by-step guidance in creating the party’s masterpiece. Participants do not need to have had any prior painting experience. There are hundreds of paintings to choose from or a custom concept can be created for your party at no additional costs.

City Art Room Teambuilding

City Art Room's team building activities have many benefits to organizations such as improving communications, camaraderie, and synergy while entertaining teams and creating memorable moments. We come to your office or special venue, set up, and our Certified Paint Coaches will guide your team, stroke-by-stroke, through the activity. Please contact us for more information. Below are some of the painting activities that we offer. 

Collaborative Painting – Each group contributes to a large 3 x 4 ft painting. 10 painters are recommended per collaborative painting.

Team Puzzle Painting – Each team member paints a piece of a larger picture on their own individual canvas.

Guided Painting– Each team member can follow along on their canvas and replicate a painting that is demonstrated by the paint coach.

Round Robin PaintingThe team is instructed to start painting using a particular theme. They have 5-10 minutes to make a start on it and then are asked to move to their right to the next person’s canvas. They then have five minutes on each person’s canvas. The activity is complete when they get back around to their painting.

Give heART’ is our fundraising program in which we partner with 501(c)(3)s to raise funds through paint parties. Every organization that partners with us receives 25% or more of event proceeds! Our private parties last up to 2 hours and only cost $35 per person. In-studio parties require a minimum of 6 people or $210 and traveling parties require a minimum of 10 people or $350. Our traveling parties can accommodate up to 100+ participants.

There is NO traveling fee and there is NO extra fee for custom paintings geared towards your party’s preference/theme. We do require party size minimums based on radial distances from Charlotte City Center (100 N Tryon St) as indicated in the chart below.

In order to secure a time slot on our calendar for your event, we only require a $70 refundable deposit which can be used as a credit towards your event balance - basically you are paying for only 2 people in advance to hold your date and time. The remaining balance is paid by cash or card as your guests arrive to the studio.

2. Once availability is confirmed, pay $70 booking deposit via link provided by customer service. (Remaining balance due as guests arrive)

3. Choose your painting.

Once your event arrives we have one final request - SIT BACK , RELAX, AND HAVE FUN!!

NOTICE: Please only submit the form below if you will be ready to pay the $70 booking deposit within 2 days of availability confirmation from Customer Service. Event dates pending deposit payment are only held for 2 days.
